Peach-Blueberry Crumble

Shopping List:

5 peaches 1 1/2 pints blueberries 1 cup light brown sugar 3/4 stick butter (salty or sweet) scant cup flour pinch of salt generous pinch of cinnamon

What to Do:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.  Wash and peel the peaches, rinse the blueberries.  Butter a baking dish (mine was 8 x 8 x 2.5).  Set all to the side.
  • Melt the butter and pour it into a bowl, then add in the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon.  Mix until a crumble develops, add more flour if it is too moist.  Set the mixture aside.
  • Layer the peaches and blueberries into your baking dish, top with crumbs, and bake for 50 minutes.  Let it rest after you take it out of the oven.  This would be great with a splash of heavy cream, whipped cream or ice cream....but best without....health wise.
